Questions guests often ask
Do you offer airport transfers?+
Yes. Chauffeured Mercedes or Rolls-Royce transfers can be booked with your stay, or arranged up to two hours before you arrive. Guests pressed for time may use our helipad from 07:00 to 22:00 — a twelve-minute hop from the international airport. Both options may be billed to your suite.
What is your cancellation policy?+
Bookings may be cancelled without charge up to fourteen days before arrival. Cancellations inside fourteen days incur the first night; no-shows are billed for the full stay. Suites and villas under our Best Available Rate may be cancelled until 48 hours before arrival. We always suggest travel insurance.
Is there a dress code?+
Smart casual applies after sunset in our restaurants and on the main casino floor. Gentlemen should wear closed shoes and a collared shirt; we lend a jacket from the cloakroom on request. Pool and lagoon bars welcome beachwear by day. Trainers, beachwear and swim shorts are not allowed in main restaurants from 19:00.
How far is the airport?+
Roughly thirty-five minutes by private car along the coastal road in normal traffic, or fifty-five minutes via the scenic inland route through the vineyards (ideal on arrival days when time allows). From our helipad, the helicopter journey is twelve minutes door-to-door.

When we opened in 1985 we had six rooms, a kitchen, and one rule: guests are not revenue units, they are people we have welcomed home. 41 years on we count 220 keys, four restaurants and a casino floor — and the rule has not shifted an inch.
There is a way to do this work and a way not to. Over 41 years we chose one and held to it. Every member of our team — from the front desk to the kitchen porters — was selected, trained and retained because they share the same instinct for what good looks like. That is not something a building produces alone. It comes from people.
